DIGITAL ENVIRONMENT INTEGRATION
The ADIPSD has launched the Program for the Integration of Services and Digital Solutions for People with Special Needs and Disabilities (hereinafter - the Program).
The aim of the Program is to promote the creation and development of an information and digital environment that will enable people with disabilities (visually or hearing impaired people, people with functional disorders, etc.), special needs, vulnerable (pregnant women, children and young people, including those with special needs), the elderly, and socially-unprotected groups, and help them with effective assistance in preventing, responding and resolving emergencies, as well as in improving the quality of life and safety of everyday life.
The operation of the Program is based on the expression of the opinions of the Program participants, listening and the best solutions in the field of information and digital environment creation and its implementation in Latvia.
Tasks of the Program:

To develop a common viewpoint and vision for the integration of services and digital solutions with National Information Systems.

Development of new digital solutions, as well as the mutual integration of existing services (incl. Program participants) and solutions.

To promote the implementation of solutions, standards, formats, data exchange procedures and protocols developed by the Program participants in Latvia, the EU and other countries;
Program participants:

Groups of people with special needs (visually or hearing impaired, people with disabilities, etc.), vulnerable (pregnant women, children and young people, including those with special needs), the elderly, and socially-unprotected groups: information and digital environments development in representing public organizations;

Digital solution developers, service companies and their representative public organizations for the groups mentioned above;

ADIPSD cooperation partners.
Current Program participants:
The Latvian Cooperation Organization for People with Special Needs - SUSTENTO, the Latvian Association of the Deaf, the Latvian Society of the Blind , the Latvian Multiple Sclerosis Association, the Latvian Deaf Support Association “Sadzirdi.lv”, Riga Active Seniors Alliance, the Association for Caring for People with Mental Disabilities, “Riga city Child of Care", and others.
